im not certain but i think theres a degree of edge alignment that matters, some swipes wont be as clean depending on how you move your mouse.

Uninstall the Half Sword demo via Steam
Right click on Half Sword Demo in you steam library Manage>Uninstall

IMPORTANT

Press WIN+R then type %localappdata% hit Enter
Now Navigate to and Delete the HalfswordUE5 folder.

Finally, reinstall Half Sword Demo.

Please note Appdata is a hidden folder by default and you need to enable show hidden items in the file explorer.

Great question! Some bugs just have no preventative measures really, just something to deal with. Also, make sure you’re running the game in dx11 and not dx12. Which you can do manually by right clicking halfsword in your steam library, then properties, then inside General there’s a box for Launch Options. In that line you can type: -dx11
