Depends on your VRAM/RAM. The major issue with the fatal crashes in the ultimate challenge are primarily due to a third party plugin that is being used for rending blood.

For most users disabling blood ceases these crashes. If you are crashing outside of ultimate challenge this is generally due to having low memory to begin with.

We have been working on a replacement system for the gore plugin that will not be implemented before Early Access.
