Parrying is tricky largley because you have to figure out how to "follow through", and not all parries = an opening to strike.

I think of it as suppressing my opponent's weapon, so I focus on holding it down.

But I believe it's slightly below default settings in-game. It's more about manipulating momentum than speed.

Like how you might manipulate a yo-yo I suppose, it's not about speed as much as it's about making microadjustments to get it to do what you wish

How do I defeat the first boss

He's untouchable

Let him walk towards you a bit, circle around grab the knife in the center. Keep your distance, dodge with shift key + tap movement keys. Bait him into a swing, dash/sprint in and stab him in the gut

Stabbing Advice 🔪

When stabbing with alt (with swords), pull your weapon in closer to your body as opposed to extending your elbow out. It's much more accurate and stable.

Alternatively If it's a two handed weapon it is recommended to hold right click first, then drag your mouse to aim the weapon. Then from there double click and hold left mouse (you can try alt a little as well but clicking is more stable)
This is a much more stable and accurate stabbing pose, and a proper halfsword thrusting stance.

To practice your aiming, there's two different ways you can keep your FOV.
Third Person- with Low FOV, so you get a closer view.
or alternatively;
First Person- with High FOV, so you get a wide view of your weapon and it's positioning.
