i only ever use it on swords whenever i'm doing a halfsword saw and need to move back and forth very quickly because it has extremely high sensitivity

Yeah, knives do feel like they do better.

I use pretty lengthy long swords. So the key to my success is to use that range when thrusting. Too close and it veers off and doesn’t stab.

And I don’t use Half Sword mode, like at all really.

Stabbing Advice 🔪

When stabbing with alt (with swords), pull your weapon in closer to your body as opposed to extending your elbow out. It's much more accurate and stable.

Alternatively If it's a two handed weapon it is recommended to hold right click first, then drag your mouse to aim the weapon. Then from there double click and hold left mouse (you can try alt a little as well but clicking is more stable)
This is a much more stable and accurate stabbing pose, and a proper halfsword thrusting stance.

To practice your aiming, there's two different ways you can keep your FOV.
Third Person- with Low FOV, so you get a closer view.
or alternatively;
First Person- with High FOV, so you get a wide view of your weapon and it's positioning.

I was a little disappointed they fixed the large candlestick grip tbh

the sword grip was way better lmao
