While playing the game, perhaps on two ocassions, I've struck an enemy's sword midswing and i swear i can notice a small white circle quickly appear, expand, then disappear. Does anyone know what this means or does? I've already assumed it's some sort of parrying mechanic but its really hard to pull off so maybe i'm wrong.

But seriously, just a matter of knowing how to use your body for leverage. The "snails pace" you might be feeling is the weight of worn armor, you get really heavy in MaA tier, so your swings are slower, but they're also more forceful because of the weight.

Half Sword is an extremely complex and difficult game by comparison to most.

It just takes practice, and focusing on what you practice espcially. Some people can play hundreds of hours and kinda suck ass.

Whereas people who play a dozen can be really good.
