Finally, reinstall Half Sword Demo.

Also this is definitely more an opinion than a serious complaint, but holy shit the Advanced Bat-with-Nails is overpowered next to the other options

Blades being lightsabers does not help because it's just a giant area of effect that turns your arms and legs off

I think the biggest issue with game balancing RE: weapons is that they super over-corrected from the previous just-abyss Demo

They felt blunt weapons were overpowered and it feels like they brute forced it by making them all weigh 3 times as much and making the blades deal full damage from any level of contact, which to me feels really clumsy and definitely upsets the balance worse

if you go into settings and adjust the gore value lower it makes blades less effective as it takes more to dismember

Like I can't think of any point in the game where that stupid thing isn't the best option

Even against full plate armor it still has a load of leverage and delivers a lot of blunt trauma through armor, and the forty little blades make it way more likely to actually hit exposed soft points

He got me clean in the side of the head with the axe, but because I had grabbed a helmet, it actually fucking deflected the blow

Great game, though the middle-ending is a slog imo. Sieges are a lot worse in it [just storm the walls and climb the ladder, literally that's it.] Warbanner improved em a fair bit, multiple angles. Also the horsemen of the steppe are a lot less annoying. Closest I ever came to beating the game is like 33% of the realm conquered. It's a lot like a Total War campaign though, you'll probly never finish it cause the front chunk of the game is the best
