In my experience longer weapons like the pitchfork, billhook and plançon are some of the best because it helps you control the battlefield when you're being jumped by like 5 guys and also to get some cheeky knockouts on the Baron himself, but that's just me I'm sure you'll find something that works best for yourself.

I generally hate stabbing controls in most weapons, but not in half swording, I love swords stabbing control is very good and very good at hitting the enemy if you go into half swording and then use alt

Stabbing Advice 🔪

When stabbing with alt (with swords), pull your weapon in closer to your body as opposed to extending your elbow out. It's much more accurate and stable.

Alternatively If it's a two handed weapon it is recommended to hold right click first, then drag your mouse to aim the weapon. Then from there double click and hold left mouse (you can try alt a little as well but clicking is more stable)
This is a much more stable and accurate stabbing pose, and a proper halfsword thrusting stance.

To practice your aiming, there's two different ways you can keep your FOV.
Third Person- with Low FOV, so you get a closer view.
or alternatively;
First Person- with High FOV, so you get a wide view of your weapon and it's positioning.
