i find most of the fun to be had in this game is from a purposeful mastery of weapon control. Not necessarily going for easy wins, but to try to understand the system at it's fullest. I've had ruts where it started to feel like I was losing my interest, but as I tried out other weapons and strategies I've consistently found myself to strive for a deeper understanding of how to improve my technical skill.

Yep. A swing to the head no matter how “hard” (the game keeps the hits basically the same velocity after you reach a threes hold of sensitivity increasing I’m pretty sure) it goes basically wins you games

Damage system is kiiiiinda fair. You can get killed as fast as the bots. But the bots totally have bigger mass and strenght and can easly trip you over when you cant do the same to them. Other than that bots can make much better weapon movements bcs they are just programmed bots. You cant make some very precise movements bcs of how controls work unless you get lucky. Other than that bots have no cheats or anything

Actually there is more I think. Bots skull is not made out of Jelly, Player's is. You get brain damage from touching a stick or blunt object but bots take almost no damage form that xD

I've not had that experience recently. I did have better results after the slow motion was added because I noticed that when I was hit in the head it was a solid hit but for them it glanced off. I then started practicing slowing my swing immediately after it makes contact and every hit since then has been a knockout. I also learned that when they hit with a mace if I move my head with the camera I can turn it into a glancing blow and they don't knock me out

Yea, because once it made contact if I swung too hard it was easier to glance off them. So after practicing the timing in slow-mo I got good at as soon as I hear the crunch I stop moving the mouse and adding further force. I also went a bunch of rounds where I just let them wail on me with the mace and experimented how I could move my body to absorb blows. With a solid helmet, if it's gonna hit the side of my head I can press ctrl and it glances off the top of my helmet. If they were gonna hit my shoulder though I just made it an easy knock out for them 😭😂

I have a mouse with a dpi button. I tap that to lower sensitivity when needing to do an overhead so there's less chance it moves to the left or right. I also made a small vertical cut with a plus on my mousepad that I can feel with my pinkie when playing to ensure I am moving the mouse perfectly up and down or left and right but that's a little excessive tbh. It works for me though

Oh and use the training dummy. Hit him on the noggin as much as you can until you can do it without thinking. Also it seems weird but people forget to breath when they play. I had my buddy hop on and play while I taught him and I realized when things move fast he forgets to breath and suddenly he can't control it at all. Your body tenses up when holding your breath and with the fine movements needed for this game it really affects things

Stabbing Advice 🔪

When stabbing with alt (with swords), pull your weapon in closer to your body as opposed to extending your elbow out. It's much more accurate and stable.

Alternatively If it's a two handed weapon it is recommended to hold right click first, then drag your mouse to aim the weapon. Then from there double click and hold left mouse (you can try alt a little as well but clicking is more stable)
This is a much more stable and accurate stabbing pose, and a proper halfsword thrusting stance.

To practice your aiming, there's two different ways you can keep your FOV.
Third Person- with Low FOV, so you get a closer view.
or alternatively;
First Person- with High FOV, so you get a wide view of your weapon and it's positioning.
