So take what I say with a grain of salt as I have no experience as a game dev and even less so with the unreal engine, but I feel as though they'd have to set a different "hardness." for flesh vs armor. Punching realisticly would and could cause damage tou yourself, but that wouldn't really translate over well. But punching a steel plate is just an overall bad idea and probably should cause slight damage or at least cause a sort of stagger effect.

'bosses' should not be designed the exact same as an enemy but double your size. there is nothing interesting about them. I have beat the ultimate challenge. i have over a hundred hours in the playtest. Enemies in half sword clearly don't have the same stamina the player does, which is normally fine. you have more agency over your movement and attacks as a player after all. but when they're twice your size. as soon as you even BREATH slightly more. The boss will just sprint into you. most of the time not even bothering to half sword
