Overall easiest weapons are the longest. Use long stabby things at first and then switch to long bonky things for the last couple. Keeping distance on the bosses with their longer and stronger arms is good

Yeah a lot of the polearms are pretty awful. Typicall the polehammer/axes because Willy refuses to follow through on his strokes so you got dainty lil flicks and the power at the corners of your screen. It's annoying, but those are better in the demo than the playtest.

Found a neat bug (sure it's already been found but I just replicated it, though not sure how many of these steps are necessary), if you select a rank in free mode, kill willie to go to the abyss, quit, reenter the game, then go back to free mode, your selected rank will still be there, however, since you haven't actually selected a mode since entering the game, when you hit play, you'll be given the options for whatever rank you're at in gauntlet
