I disagree. It's more balanced earlier on when you're facing things with better reach and you aren't as reliant on armor to protect you.

I hate fighting Plancon veterans because they have some armor and I'm usually using a polehammer, so our range is about the same.

It would make sense, but is too specialized for that and doesn't have enough stuff to counter it, in my humble opinion.

I do not want to fight a full armored knight with a Plancon.

That's exactly my point. It would be way too crazy at higher tiers. It's best spot is where it can't be it's most effective, and that's the intermediate tiers. Even a Militiaman with a Plancon is a huge threat to a knight of man at arms. Imagine that in armor and being a common occurence to fight at top tiers. It would be too powerful because it's always shining its brightest.

Those intermediate tiers also have weapons that counter it like the billhook and voulges which super outrange it.
