Okay, it looks like you do not have the RAM required to run the game. As a last attempt right click halfsword playtest in your steam library, press properties. Then under General there’s a line for launch options. Type in: -dx11

If you’re trying to run on dx12 you need a LOT of RAM to power through the memory leaks

If you’re on dx11 you just don’t have the hardware required. At minimum 16 gb is heavily recommended

If you're wielding a small shield and a one-handed weapon, you can kind of hug the plaçon under your right arm, so long as you're close enough to the wielder

Then you just hold it in place with your arms and kick the opponent's shins until they give up or drop the weapon

I don't think a trainer even requires decrypting the game, it could be calling on functions that are already there but are usually disabled.
and the loadout selector just switches out the equipment sav file, which is located in your user appdata, and not in the game itself.

No, but some goof is definetly a nice touch. It isn't too goofy as is. There are some moments that are, but I haven't had anything too stupid or crazy happen other than maybe the seathing levitation and a couple of other things.

I admit that it's not a finished product, but it's a physics based game and there will always be atleast some levels of jank and goof to it.
