Hey guys, just started actually giving the game a shot despite hjaving it downloaded forever, anyone have advice on parrying?

Bots are gonna have the strength advantage cause they just plow throught any fancy work. Good way to parry is to either use a shield bash, or use a longsword to slash at their weapon and then follow up by going into half-sword mode and swinging the other way.

Those are some basic ones though.

Some might argue throwing a buckler shield at the speed of sound directly into their teeth is also a good parry.

Personally, i think it depends
Shields are a good passive block item, protects you sometimes, but if you need presicion on where your blocking (e.g. your opponent is swinging at you where your shield isn't blocking) or you want to parry a hit, i would control it

I'm not exactly a pro, but when it truly comes down it it, the only thing that really matters is how you like to play :D

• The base pack is kinda grindy, so you're kind of forced to liquidate most assets early on (unless you buy more expensive packs, which, obviously, massive L)
• It takes quite some time (200h+) to get used to a single map, and there's 8-9 of them. This is emphasized by the fact that equipment isn't free
• Quests are somewhat tedious and the gameplay model starts to break down the moment you reach level 15, because you get access to the player market
