What do you enjoy about tier 8? I have 30 hours in the playtest currently (mostly tier 5 and 6). Whenever I play tier 8 I just feel like I end up wrestling with the enemy, whereas in tier 7 I can at least get some good kill hits if I time it right/make sure my swings are accurate

Dont make huge swings with it, more precise quick flicks do the trick. If it's a one hander i usually toss my shield and double grip it.

In real life, you’re supposed to adjust your grip to have your hands closer together as you swing a polearm. The game doesn’t do that. So, the result is a swing that stops too soon and doesn’t have enough momentum

on the axes its okay since you have so much blade to work with

but especially on higher difficulties using the polearm is very awkward

It's especially effective with people who has helmets and heavy armor where is harder to hit them

I have hit some nasty clips but they happen pretty much never, il try and show you but my favorite technique is to go close to them and grabbing the sword by both sides and puting it behind his neck like a hug and then slice his head of by moving the sword side to side
