I'm very picky about the kind of head I like on my polearms. You, by far, have my least favorite possible head. I like to have poke on the tip, but not too much to where it feels like a spear. I like the fancier looking hammer to be able to bludgeon the shit out of heavier armor, and I like the spike on the back to hook behind breastplates and to use as a ball sack opener with an upper cut.

But I could certainly get into the flow of a super pokey and heavy tipped one.

I feel like my pickiness was mostly just because I wasn't good enough to be as versatile with pole arms.

Yeah, tracking, it seems pretty good. Especially in t6 and t7 for gap hunting around the shoulders and neck with the heft of a pole arm.

Probably not helpful to anyone at this point and I'm blabbering for nothing but just played the OG halfsword demo for the first time in a while and i hate to admit it but i had so much more fun. Im 90% sure this is mostly bc of some optimization issues im having in the new playtest when stabbing or slicing at people at times the AI can have akward, unimmersive moments. Just feels too jumpy and glitchy in the playtest even tho I appreciate the movement and combat changes a lot. I have about 40 hours in each. Love the gore and slowed down mechanics of the first one for a more story mode signal player approach. Something so amazing swinging a hammer around and exploding a head. And then I imagine the new playtest being a lot better for multiplayer scenarios. I am still die hard regardless, love all the hard work and love put into this game. I can't wait till i can hand over my wallet for a polished experience🔥 🙏

I managed to send my opponent into a "coma" twice, both took a long time after falling before the win condition kicked in after kicking them for some. First one just didn't wake up and the second one for some miracle woke up and gave up immediately lol. both were caused by doing consecutive severe but not fatal cuts to the head (tier 3 swords are just like that)
