Unfortunately, you just have to keep playing and get used to it. I like low lock-on.

Half Sword is surpisingly complex. I've got over 100 hours in the playtest at this point

also one issue I keep coming across is the blades from various weapons like swords and knives dont cut when they should.

I'll be slowly dragging it across someone's neck and they never bleed from it unless I swing it hard

That actually depends on edge alignment and what damage settings you have.

Higher damage settings will make them bleed by just dragging slowly.

High damage to player seems to cause these issues where you can get randomly knocked out by colliding with the enemy. Very annoying.
