A good way to do this I think would be if you hold a certain key, your hand will slide around on the weapon and when it’s released, your hand will use that as a pivot point

Yea for sure, I think we need a bit more stability in some things but only very slightly. Thrusts for sure, a little more in autoparry maybe, or alternatively a parry stance key that leaves you less able to attack but you stiffen up in your wrists and things and are more able to statically block horizontal attacks and such

although the roof guard leaves the body kind of vulnerable but the head protected

because in most combat sports when the fighter has completed a move, the typical procedure is to go into one of their base stances to set up another attack or defend against the opponent

Different stances have different advantages and disadvantages mostly for setting up different types of blocks and different types of attacks

Stabbing Advice 🔪

When stabbing with alt (with swords), pull your weapon in closer to your body as opposed to extending your elbow out. It's much more accurate and stable.

Alternatively If it's a two handed weapon it is recommended to hold right click first, then drag your mouse to aim the weapon. Then from there double click and hold left mouse (you can try alt a little as well but clicking is more stable)
This is a much more stable and accurate stabbing pose, and a proper halfsword thrusting stance.

To practice your aiming, there's two different ways you can keep your FOV.
Third Person- with Low FOV, so you get a closer view.
or alternatively;
First Person- with High FOV, so you get a wide view of your weapon and it's positioning.

I think there should be pros and cons to both - IE good honor score will mean if you're about to die and you surrender, they are more likely to spare you - where if you have a low honor score enemies are more likely to surrender themselves

however with a high honor score they will surrender and mean it where low honor score they will try to fake you out with a false surrender

I keep mine around the middle, drop willie's down to ~1/8th. Makes me at least try to be competent to have a chance

works wonders

9 seconds to be exact, one blow to the head with my axe was game over for the willie
