Stabbing Advice 🔪

When stabbing with alt (with swords), pull your weapon in closer to your body as opposed to extending your elbow out. It's much more accurate and stable.

Alternatively If it's a two handed weapon it is recommended to hold right click first, then drag your mouse to aim the weapon. Then from there double click and hold left mouse (you can try alt a little as well but clicking is more stable)
This is a much more stable and accurate stabbing pose, and a proper halfsword thrusting stance.

To practice your aiming, there's two different ways you can keep your FOV.
Third Person- with Low FOV, so you get a closer view.
or alternatively;
First Person- with High FOV, so you get a wide view of your weapon and it's positioning.

Here to yell my daily message at the top of my lungs: Don't take the names of the keybinds as their explicit purpose, ALL of them have a multitude of uses only limited by your strategy. Alt may stab just like double click, but tapping can give strikes easily (video is all ALT, 0% mouse movement).

Yea so if your your left hand gets broken (red triangle on left of screen) and you can’t use a two handed sword drop it and use your side arm

So I do a carnage match, and the first guy that fights me gets instantly crippled, but doesn't surrender, so I leave him and mop up the other two.

Now my sword is stuck in the third guy so I pick up his spear and start running to the corner of the arena the crippled guy is in and literally a second before I impale him he shouts "noooooooooooo".

Let’s see… this is off of memory, in top tier there is big sword with big straight crossguard, there’s one with a brass s shaped cross guard, there’s another one with an S shaped crossguard, and that’s just the thick blades ones there’s the thinner ones and are at least 3 of those idk it’s hard to keep track.

Great sword is awesome until you realize that swinging it doesn’t do anything against armor so you are better off using a thinner one that is faster to swing and easier to maneuver

Whats a good setting for sensitivity with a two handed sword? I have mine set pretty low and it seems ok but how far should it he from the lowest setting?

I have my sensitivity all the way down but that's because I'm used to a fast tracking mouse because I don't have a lot of desk space. Anything above the lowest and my swings become way to wild and uncontrollable.

See I feel like shields in this just complicate things. The ai can use a shield at the same time as the sword but we're constrained to mouse movement for both.

You can't really parry low strikes, but they have alot less range then an average slash so just step back

I always hold shift when I need to move because it helps when gaining distance

Best option is to play and practice against it and make your own method of avoiding leg strikes
