So system restore is a feature on all pc's. You can just type system restore in your windows search bar. Your PC automatically creates restore points. It will basically reset your computer to the last restore point. You won't lose anything you downloaded or installed since that last restore point.

To get more accurate stabs try to have more momentum behind it. Move forwards while holding shift. Takes a while to understand the angle of stabs since you’re usually using both hands and it’s not straight.

Triple check that you deleted every half sword file. If you did that, and still have the same issue, then no luck for you unfortunately. But REALLY make sure you deleted everything. Majority of people I tell the fix to, end up NOT following the directions and don’t delete everything even if they swore up and down before, that they did lol until they go back and check.

Solution: Clean reinstall

I was playing this game when my laptop froze. I turn it off and basically the D hard drive is gone, it keep saying No Bootable Devices error. I assume it was because the laptop is so old now and the disk cable is not in place correctly.
