When he grabs me by the hand or any other position close to it, i can just tap grab his hand back
and that will usually cause Willie to let go
That paired with a kick whilst going backwards works like a charm to defuse the situation

demo is older, and it plays similar to a roguelike, where you start with nothing and gradually get stronger as you progress through a black void, with bosses appearing once you progress further. combat is less refined and there's no dynamic limb cutting, but it's still fun to play
playtest is the newest version, and it's an arena mode where all gear and armour is available to you at once (I also believe there's more armour/weapon options than the demo). combat feels better and there's dynamic limb cutting.

ok it definitely does. the droplets are GPU particles so medium significantly reduces them.
