When you swing overhead, it will often go to one side or the other. It will benefit you to swing a bit on an angle.

you can also press Alt when your weapon is above your head for some overhead swings. Doesn't generate as much power, though.

the height of the swings can depend on where willies is looking before you hold left click to swing so try look at the head before doing that
