It's really not that hard, just wait until they inevitably go for an overhead and then interrupt with 2 quick swipes to either side of their torso

The only issue is, at default setting, they'll typically brush it off

I think when blood is added, a lot of hits will be more apparent with blades

Like dagger. No idea how to use the dagger besides spamming. Thrusts are so hard to land it's not even viable

i'm suspecting there's some goofiness with my frame rate or the fact that i have a shitty wireless mouse but i think my biggest problem at this point is swinging my weapon is randomly wimpy af

seems like cranking fps all the way up makes my mouse controls all kinds of sluggish and idk why lol

Wireless mouses can cause latency issues, but if you haven't, try turning your sensitivity down a bit. Slower and more precise movements makes your attacks have more "oomph". You'd think it's the other way around, especially with larger weapons like polearms, but it's really not

slow, accurate movements will give you the big hits

Thrust is pretty overpowered, I have mostly stopped using it in unarmored fights because it is a guaranteed win 99% of the time unless it misses and goes into their arm pit or neck and then you can still slice an artery to win from that position.
