Yep! Hold right click to aim your weapon, and position the tip of it to aim— and then double click left mouse to stab it forward. It's a much more stable method of stabbing than just double clicking normally.
also, doing this with polearms feels extremely natural
you can get some nice angles if you're in first person with FOV cranked up, or third person with FOV cranked down.

Yep! They transfer concussive force beneath the armour to the person underneath, but they require more force behind the swings.
For larger weapons, try moving your mouse slower and more precise, you'd think you have to swipe faster, but it's rather the opposite. Slower movements will get you the strong, accurate hits

The way I'm holding it straight is by holding right click and dragging my mouse a bit to the side, then I'm able to do that stabbing technique that I mentioned to you! It comes with practice, but first person helps a lot with it tbh

that may be the issue, the playtest is very heavy on the cpu and memory usage. You can try manually setting it to dx11 and see if that works

To do this, go to your steam library, and right click the playtest. Click "properties", and then click "general" by the top.
In the text box here where it says "launch options", type in this: "-dx11" then simply close that window and restart the game. This should hopefully fix the issue.

I find that doing a quick hand switch at the start of the round seems to loosen up the shoulders considerably and makes it easier to get these good whipping strikes in, i dont just do it because i think it looks cool lol
