#Poor performance with lossless (3080ti + 3050 6gb)

Nope
What’s the usages on gpus before and after applying LS
And the power draw too if you have it (you can check hwinfo or gpuz perhaps)
May be a thermal / power throttling happening
Using the secondary gpu became super unstable. Had to DDU. Will see what the results are soon
I put in the 3050 by itself in the 4.0 x16 just to make sure it works fine. Seems completely normal
However, when I connect it to the M.2 adapter it gets weird
Yea. Something is very wrong with this adapter. Just put the card in the adapter slot and its super laggy. And again, no 3080ti is plugged in, just the 3050
Yeah m.2 adaptors are hit / miss
It was only $20 at least. Probably need a new one
It was working earlier. Idk, must have bent it too hard.
Dual isn’t always stable to be honest even through PCIe lanes
I’d recommend oculink if you can
You can get oculink & adaptors all in one for £30
Got a link by chance?
Ya

This is what I have, works at 4.0’x4 not tried higher yet
I might have actually just dmged my m.2 slot #2
This is too much to figure out. Time for sleep
Oof hopefully not
So much for sleep. Ignore me damaging the m.2.
I did however change the speeds on #2 m.2 manually to gen 3 and it is running FAR better. Like no hiccups like before
It works! This guy who sold me the adapter may have lied. Forcing gen 3 on the m.2 slot fixed it
Glad u found out why
Those adapters are pretty cursed. They can't deliver power either because m.2 is 3.3v but the card expects 12v.
that's a really neat way to back-mount your GPU 👀
the external PCIe slot card should have a 6-pin connector
