Using a controller to use ReShade (I'm talking about https://discordapp.com/channels/1042475930217631784/1271345669545922631/1271345669545922631) is more difficult as it doesn't let you click on anything to adjust, and plus it prevents using the depth buffer of a game so no AO and no RTGI. I think Lossless Scaling being a shader in ReShade fixes that.
#Lossless Scaling should be a shader in ReShade

You can inject Reshade to Lossless scaling not the other way around. You can't access game's depth buffer
Why not the other way around?
you can apply reshade on the game and then scale it with LS
LSFG is a convolutional neural model ported to shaders. These shader passes are layers of the model. And, that is not open source. So it cannot be added to reshade. (Unless THS wants to try something in this regard, which I don't think will happen, at least anytime soon)
RTGI isn't open source too
Anyway, is there a way for LS to access the depth buffer of ReShade? And is there a way to fix the controller requirement?
☝🏻
LS cannot access depth buffers, and neither is it intended. One of the core principles of LS is to have no interaction with game engine/files
Yeah, but, as I said, you can simply apply reshade on the base game, setup everything and then scale the game with LS.
That way, you can fully utilise all reshade features, interact with the reshade UI and use LSFG with it
Checked and yup I can do that. Thanks
