#Is it possible for me to use LS with AMD iGPU, or did I waste my money?

I'm using the integrated GPU in a R7 4700U (Vega 7/Radeon Graphics 448SP), and turning on frame gen and/or scaling makes the input lag unbearable and the game does not run at a playable performance. Are there any settings I can change or system changes I can make, or do I just have to accept that I wasted 7 dollars?

Then, it won't be useful i think

You can try this

#

Cap base fps to 40 or 45
Fixed FG to 1.6-1.8
Flowscale to 80
Performance mode on
Sync mode Off/Default

#

if it still doesn't work, then, idk

ok, i tried this and it helped somewhat, but i think i'm still better off without LS.

assuming I were to upgrade to a desktop and use, say, an nvidia gpu, would its frame gen also artifact and do weird stuff like it does on LS with my settings?

#

currently i have problems where there are random blurs at the edge of my sccreen and things like that

#

i know DLSS can take in motion data from the game but does that make a big difference?

Yes, DLSS (especially 4) will give you much better results. And with a stronger GPU, your base fps will increase - reducing latency and artifacts and also enable more room for FG to work over it. Whether it is in-game ones or external like LSFG.
