Any game that is set up with the config gets this error and does not launch.

Also getting some wayland errors but unsure how relevant they are.
"WARNING: GLFW: Error: 65548 Description: Wayland: The platform does not provide the window position
WARNING: GLFW: Error: 65548 Description: Wayland: The platform does not support setting the window position"

I tried chaning to the beta branch it did not help /:

Hmmm

did you override the lossless.dll path or is it in a default location?

So I have switched back to the regular branch and verified local files.

I did have to specify the dll location because otherwise it would not detect lossless scaling and would ask me if it was installed.
I just specified the entire path to the dll. is that wrong ?

boreal swan
#

ah, wrong dll

#

Lossless.dll, not LosslessScaling.dll

#

mind telling me where you got that from? people keep doing that mistake and I would like to know why

Ah yes! worked.
I think its a combo of how things are worded in the github wiki and the name of the files in the Lossless Scaling directory.

So for me when I got the " is lossless scaling installed? " error I figured I would just have to write the path of the dll in the config.

So I wrote the directory like if kind of says to do in the github wiki. I at least read it like that.
"dll = "/games/Lossless Scaling" "

And when that did not work I looked in the lossless directory and found the dll in the screenshot. So I just wrote down the path for that thinking that was the correct dll. since it had the logo and everything

Can I tag this as solved somehow ?

i see the issue on the wiki, let me fix that

#

marked this as solved as well

btw the dll is loaded automatically if its installed in the home library

#

pancake

#

you can try to locate the dll in multiple libraries

boreal swan
#

mm, it falls back to the current pwd

by reading the vdf library file

boreal swan
#

I can but the vdf is really inconsistent :P

#

can open a github issue if you want but I'm not gonna work on it now
