i guess another question to add is the 970ti running in the x4 mode enough bandwidth to get the performance out of it or would the bandwidth bottleneck the performance and just cause issues?

All collected data serve as a rough estimate of the maximum capability of a second GPU, gathered at 2x interpolation with a 100% flow scale using SDR. Higher multipliers can reuse calculations, resulting in a non-linear cost, while adjusting the flow case can further increase final FG capability
