I'm trying to play GTA V with a 50 FPS cap and 100 FPS with Lossless, but I'm not getting a 50 cap. How do I fix this?
Not getting a 50 fps cap? Does the LS framerate counter show the wrong number? Post the two numbers. What's your monitor refreshrate?
Monitor 100hz
And the numbers?
If I cap it at 50, it goes up to 50-70.
And lossless boosts it by 2x
After bosst I get FPS 140+
Probably an overlay problem, try disabling all overlays in Steam/Nvidia/AMD/Discord and any recording feature, disable Discord hardware acceleration
how to disable discord hardware acceleration ?
Google it
Ok wait i try this
not working
I Disablediscord hardware and steam overlays or amd records settings
Have you turned off the Discord overlay and AMD stuff as well?
Reboot the PC and try again
Do you use Windows 11 24H2?
10 Pro 64 bit
Not working even after restarting
still same issue
Try disabling AMD antilag
You play the "normal" GTA5, not Enhanced, right?
Yes
Try to lock the fps with AMD instead of RTSS
It's been working for so long, but I can't do any settings after installing Windows yesterday.
And I am using the beta version of Lossless.
Anti-lag is not showing on my PC.
Does the 50fps RTSS cap work when you don't use LS?
The graphics tab is not appearing here.
Maybe the 580 doesn't support antilag
did not check
Yes It's working
Close every background program you don't need, be it mouse related software or whatever, just close everything you can identify and then try again
Also close RTSS/Afterburner
But only shutdown RTSS as the last option
If it doesn't work, should I get a new drive?
Why a new drive?
The problem has something to do with your current installation, be it a driver issue or an overlay that you haven't found yet
I might have a problem with the drive.
Even if you do, that wouldn't cause this kind of problem
I'm trying everything but nothing is working.
Capping with RTSS but lossless boosting to 50+ FPS
like 62-92
Try enabling Gsync support in LS (even though it's not needed for AMD). I'm out of other ideas
No, it's not working at all.
@dull smelt #🆘│support-discussion message check
As a workaround you could try Adaptive mode instead of fixed x2
It still won't cap the fps but that won't matter with Adaptive
No, it's not working at all 🥲
This has been happening since I reinstalled Windows 10.
Have you updated Win10 after installation?
I reinstalled the Graphics Driver and reinstalled Windows, but it still doesn't work.
Yes
This option is not showing on my PC.
@dull smelt I don't understand what the problem is with this? 🥲
