#More artifacts since the latest Nvidia update

yes i can confirm that too
I had to roll back my Nvidia version, and now it runs as usual, but I don't know... People haven't said anything else, so I'm not sure if it's just something a few of us noticed. There's a new beta version now, but I don't know if I'll update Nvidia yet... I don't trust it xD
This is clearly visible in the Dmitrirender and smoothvideo projects. It's not just lossless scaling that suffers under the new rtx 50 drivers that have ruined the look.
Do you think we can expect a quick "solution" to these problems?
No
My guess is that it is not the new Nvidia Driver display that will be improved, but the applications that will be corrected to be compatible. This is what we have to wait for.
The last driver that I can roll back to on my 4080 before 572.60 is 572.42. How far back did you have to roll your drivers to fix the issue?
I have rolled back only to 572.47, and I don't notice a big difference compared to how it was before. What really bothers me is 572.60. Now they have released 572.70, but I don't know if there is any difference. For now, I'll wait a bit longer before updating and testing again.
I tested on both 572.70 and 566.36 and the artifacting on LSFG 3.0 looked the same. Are we sure that it isn't the new lossless update that messed with things?
No, because if you look, my post is prior to the last update of lossless scaling. I don't know if it has to do with the drivers or the hardware or what 😔
Odd. I swear I started seeing a difference after the update, but that was around the same time I updated the drivers. I may just be schizo, but (on finer details) it looks like 2.3 does less significantly less garble now to me, although it does ghost/tear objects more
I can't tell a difference in artifacting (on 3.0) between adaptive, fixed, and fixed on the non-beta version after more testing. If nothing changed about the non-beta version it's probably just me losing my mind
