When changing Scaling Mode to Custom, my ingame picture gets cropped, (Zoomed in to top left corner)
How can i fix this?

Specs:
RTX 2080,
Ryzen 7 3700x
32gb DDR4 3200MHz
Monitor: 21:9 3440x1440 100hrz

Oh and game is GTA 5 running in borderless

turn on resize before scaling

I got that turned on, even tried with it off with no luck

#

oh i am actually having the same problem with cod modern warfare remastered

#

If i turn the resize before scaling off it zooms in to the middle of the screen with it ON it zooms to the corner

try to run the game itself at a lower internal resolution and then setting the scaling mode to auto

I kinda enjoy being able to tab out of game quicly without having to wait for the resolution to fix itself. But il give it a go

#

ok so that worked, if i went down from 3440x1440 to 2560x1080, the screen gets smaller on my pc, but then when i scale it zooms it correctly

#

Is that then the intended use for that feature?

yeah

#

also

#

make sure you can click on buttons properly

#

like in settings meu for example

#

like if you hover over a button you should be able to click on it properly

#

i was having a problem with that before

Ok, so messing about with the scaling mode, if i run at 1.3 i get a small black border at the right side and bottom side. going up to 1.8 zooms the picture again

#

yeah, its the same thing

#

basically

#

you are doing the thing auto mode does on your own

#

auto is finding the scale factor to zoom in the right amount

gotcha, i would have to mess around with it to figure it out. Still LOVE the program, its basicly the early 2000s version of downloading more ram xD

abstract plaza
#

yeah. only if we had a way to download vram

#

other than cloud computing of course

#

maybe someday
