I have tried to run RDR2 with no scaling just Frame Generation x2. On Vulkan it does not work at all and keyboard gets laggy. On DX12 it does work but FPS drops and keyboard becomes super laggy. Buttons become stuck despite me pressing for just a second. Oddly enough even the Caps Lock led on my keyboard turns on like 3 seconds after pressing the caps lock. If i close the Lossless Scaling it returns to normal. Any idea on how to fix? 1080p 180hz monitor with GTX 1650 Super.
#Keyboard gets extremely laggy in RDR2. Even caps lock LED is laggy.

Its an issue with the game not lossless, run benchmark in settings for 5 seconds then close or download the mod fix
my red dead redemption 2 does not lag. here are the settings
i have a rtx 3060 laptop. also 4GB vram is too little for RDR2. it asks for a 1060 as minimum. it has 6GB vram
and lossless scaling might take up more vram if im not wrong
Im playing RDR2 with a 1650 and i3 9100f 💀 You should have no problem what so ever
Graphic settings High-Ultra, 40 fps and with LS, 80 fps 🤓
btw, disable "Performance" under Frame Generation, it should only be on if you have an old graphics card, which you don't

Yes it turns out true. This fixed it. Eventually fps drops back and keyboard starts to lag again like 10 minutes of gameplay. It's either the RDR2 itself or my sad 4GB VRAM. 😦
Do you mind sharing your graphics settings when you are able. I just want to keep textures ultra with x16 filtering.
So I have my game at 900p and limited to 40 fps with Rivatuner
with only x2 frame generation on LS
I have Ultra textures and x16 filtering. I have both shadow's options set on medium (you can do high probably since you have gtx 1650 super) Also water and particles are on medium Everything else is on high.
Hey there I'm confused a little. I thought the game if ran on the vulkan API causes lossless to automatically crash? That's been the case for me so am I mistaken?
it should not
It doesn't crash when I use windowed mode. But windowed borderless causes the app to crash. Is this the case for you?
no
thats weird
Hmm thanks for the reply though. Now I know smth is up and I'll try and figure it out. Thanks mate
Yo one more thing, what scaling mode are you using actually?
