PC shuts down with LSFG 2.1 (SOLVED)

Ever since I started using LS frame generation (x2) for Wuthering Waves my PC started shutting down after a couple hours of use, a regular shutdown no aditional errors. This does not happen with LSFG 1.1
PC specs:
850W PSU (corsair)
32GB DDR4 RAM
RX 6650XT 8GB
Ryzen 5600X
500BG M.2 for windows
1TB SSD for games/files

pc is less than 3 years old

this caught my attention bc several AMD users are having this shutdown Issue according to reddit, and someone else with an almost identical setup to mine.

just to update I tried to replicate the crash while log only this time I was not using a program that loads skins into wuwa and it did not crash at all during 4 hours of test

i think the issue might be related to that program (3dmigoto)

3dmigoto works like an overlay, I wouldn't be surprised if it interferes with LSFG.

yeah, will keep using LSFG without 3dmigoto and in the case of a shutdown ill start logging again and send the cvs file here @gleaming gazelle

If you were using it for getting above 60fps try https://github.com/WakuWakuPadoru/WuWa_Simple_FPSUnlocker instead to be able to keep using 3dmigoto

Sure, if you can replicate a crash when using LS only, upload the log and ping me here

Otherwise, overlays don't play nice with LS, and when your graphics drivers crash, it may shut-down your pc as well

I just had a shut down playing zenless zone zero with no 3dmigoto in use, will try to replicate shut down and log

Keep hwinfo running on the background as you play, next time you shutdown grab the csv and upload it here

No, either ddu or amd cleanup utility, because it needs to be done from safemode to remove all traces of the driver

So far every crash has been on 24.6.1 from what I can tell. Let's hope rolling back makes a difference

Windows basic drivers don't look the prettiest

For Anti lag 2, but I think you have the right one, and yes run ddu from safe mode

Holding shift key as you restart boots into safe mode, but you don't need to use ddu

Just run amdcleanup utility from Windows, it will boot into safe mode by itself and automate the whole process

It's the same as ddu, and updating windows now or later doesn't matter, I'd do it later

Yes, I remain testing no shutdowns so far even using 3dmigoto

Had to stop monitoring with hwinfo since it looked like my pc was having a stroke after a couple hours

That's fine, just use your pc like you normally would. We'll know if it's fixed or not in 2-3 days of regular use

I'm positive it it was the driver now. I know it would've crashed already at least once, I don't wanna jinx myself but its looking like it hope its fixed in a future AMD driver though

Well so far every complaint has been from users on 24.6.1, so it very likely was the driver, but let's not jinx ourselves

download hwinfo and start it sensors only

then start logging and replicate the crash then upload the cvs file so someone can hopeully tell you whats going on (or see for yourself)

The fix for the case presented in this post: Use DDU or AMD cleanup utility (amd gpu) to uninstall Adrenalin **24.6.1 ** then install version 24.5.1
