You have to cap your fps in game to 40 (if ur getting that consistently) then u change ur refresh to 120, and then in lossless the only thing u turn on is the Frame Gen and x3 (and performance is optional to see if it helps)

Orrr in my case I didn’t need to change my refresh rate, locking my games fps to 30 fixed it and I get 90fps now with little to no stutters

Are you using DXGI API?
If you enable "Draw FPS" in Lossless settings, does it say 240/240 ingame when you activate LS?

If you don't get 240 FPS ingame natively and it says 240/240 it means that LS isn't detecting the FPS of your game but of your desktop instead

You don't have to
You do that for perfect frame sync so it feels smoother
However if the issue is that it says 240/240 on your end you have a different problem
That it's not detecting the game's FPS but your desktop's

What works for me:
Either click on the desktop shortcut in the bottom right corner of the task bar and then click the game's icon again (however on multiple screens that will cause discord on my second screen to disappear too and when I click on the discord icon to get it back it sometimes will read my desktop's FPS again)
Or while ingame press CTRL+Shift+Escape to open task manager while the game is running in the background and then close the task manager again (a bit more inconsistent solution, the above one works consistently for me)

Try one of those two solutions

If you only have 30 FPS it should either say 30/60 with x2 or 30/90 with x3

And make sure to try the solutions first and then activate LS

So do the first solution then activate LS and see if it has fixed it
Then disable it again if it hasn't, try the second solution and then enable it

It is recommended to use controllers with Lossless because they feel much better

LS is however not a complete wonder tool
Some applications may not like it
Also if you wanna use frame gen you need some GPU headroom. So if you are already at 95+% GPU usage in a game you won't benefit from Frame Gen

It needs ressources to work properly

And it only works for windowed/borderless applications
Some older games may only work in Fullscreen mode and there Lossless is useless for example

Some games don't even like their windowed/borderless window being resized externally and will cause LS to freak out or not work.

It's a wonderful tool, but it's not black magic, it has it's drawbacks
