U need to set the alan wake game to windowed or windowed fullscreen mode or you can change the API from dxgi to wgc
you need to scroll down where frame generation is and below you will find this setting in Lossless Scaling
hi again xddd
Thank u for replying. i have got it working. what about "scaling type" and other settings?
so they are reduce the native resolution and give you a less pixelated image
but it uses less resources
they are good but they are reduce the game HUD elements also
i dont really recommend it, just use whenever its in the game
if a game has that scaling option you should choose that because of the HUD elements
Frame generation is pretty dope xddd
also you should set a keybind to frame gen and if you in a fullcreen game you just press those key binds and there you go
dont need to exit the game
actually i only have a 75hz display so i can't really use the full benefits from this
do u mind if we vc?
i'm hungarian and i understand most of the things but i'm not that good in speaking
also i just tried out this program 5 minutes ago
from steamrip
💀
bless you. no worries. im the same but from the uk. i just wish i knew more about computers.
write me if u want help or something
i found my version via google, is that bad?
from what site?
not sure.
it's safe dont worry
i get 15/43
thats interesting
indeed
winows lets me set it at 120hz. i use a 55 inch 60 hdr television. i have st riva at 60hz.
what specs are you using for Alan Wake 2?
you know that game is really unoptimized and...
alan wake is maxxed. rtx 6800xt 16gb, 48ddr5 ram and a i7 8th gen.
is it running 60 fps native?
60.7
alright what if you enable frame gen?
is your game fullscreen or windowed fullscreen?
wait how are you running alan wake 2 at native with 60 FPS?
what are your settings preset
I've RTX 3070, 32 GB ram and R7 5800X but i get like 60-70 FPS with DLSS Quality and optimized settings (custom preset)
Must be my ram.
nah how
alan wake is only using 13 - 15 GB of ram out of 32
with ultra settings
Potentially GPU/VRAM? you have an 8GB card, they have a 16gb card. Not to mention the 6800xt tends to outclass the 3070
