#You might want to get this guy's video taken down;

yeah and his way is sketchy also so you shouldn't follow the video and older version
I wouldnt follow the video in the first place tbh
Honestly, this program is a revolution. It's worth the money it asks for, you have to give support to these people
exactly
Pirating it is really stupid
I despise those who distribute programs that people put genuine thought and effort into
the price is already so low
In any case, piracy is endless, and it never ends. So it is useless to ask to remove those videos, unfortunately
@vagrant igloo
Mmm true
I personally use emulators but I only play games I own bc I cbf plugging in the consoles to play them
And I'd rather play on pc anyway
People, they will understand for themselves that it is a program worth paying for
^^
I also, always emulators, and I can say that this program IS LIFE. 144 FPS EVERYWHERE
totally agree man with lossless scaling the games have never been better
I had a good friend of mine play Wind Waker HD with me from 3 days to yesterday, and playing it in 144 fps from 30 going is life.
Unfortunately, there are still some small glitchy artifacts, but the game is thoroughly enjoyable
was ironically playing that with ls not even an hour ago
I mean, there’s penny pinching and then there is penny stealing…
Appreciate you guys wanting to help the dev. I do believe that appealing to the conscience would ultimately work better than directly battling piracy
My thinking is as follows: The video has been seen by many people already, so if it goes down, something else will pop up on YT or elsewhere on the internet with a quick google search for "LS app for free". To my awareness, many people who pirate inexpensive software like this either can't buy it from their region, or they're broke or have very low income (or just cheapskates, yes :P).
Thought I was forgetting something while writing this. Yes, definitely that. ☝🏻
some pirates(like me) enjoy the program so much they buy it eventually some wont and never will some wants to just test
so its fine
if you dig through off topic you can find plenty of people buying it after pirating the software
those videos are actually quite helpful, i tried it and found out that my gpu couldnt handle it, making the fps worse. so i never bought it
Here's a hot take: THS or an LS rep might contact the uploader guy and just ask him to include, in the video/description/comments, a request from the Lossless Scaling developer for anyone who tries the app, enjoys using it, and has access to it on Steam, to purchase it if doing so would not be a burden to them financially.
