#LS not working properly on heavily modded Skyrim (Constellations collection)

Hello, I've trying to get LS to help out performance on Skyrima after installing this huge collection, but it's simply not working properly. I get different behaviors depending on the approach:

FSR method 1 (windowed mode, resolution below native): LS essentially halves FPS. Game becomes super sttuttery, although Steam still displays as it was running at 60fps. Something related to rendering? Collection uses ENB and probably other rendering wizardry, but I wouldn't be able to tell.

** FSR method 2 (borderless, native res, manual scaling)**: it just zooms in on the game. This also happened with other games I tried

FG: Equally finnicky, although I wouldn't use it before having at least FSR helping out with native performance.

I also tried Fallout New Vegas, also heavily modded, and while FG worked great, I also had FSR just zooming in on the screen.

Tried using FSR optimized version, tried enabling "Resize before scaling" while on manual scaling mode, nothing worked.

Any help would be much appreciated. For any additional info just let me know

hello again, it's 144hz. Game's locked at 60 to avoid engine physics issues

Ok. About each approach:

  1. Please, verify if there's no overlay holding your FPS externally (if you are not using Vsync in Lossless, try to activate it after the first check to see if it changes something)...
  2. Try to reduce the rate of the upscaling that you're setting up manually.
#
  1. If nothing works, try to go back to the automatic settings in the upscaling.
  2. If this is not working too, go to the Properties of Lossless (and your game files), to check "Disable fullscreen optimizations" in the Compatibility settings.
#

If nothing else works, do a General Verification of your system:

Start Menu > Type "CMD" > Run As Administrator > type "sfc /scannow" > Enter > Wait... > type "dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth" > Wait... > Reboot your system and try to configure Lossless again in your games.

Note: do not use quotes

Hi if you havent edited your settings yet, most skyrim mod collections have SSE Display Tweaks which modifies the game's base behaviour of display and stuff. So even if u set it normally to windowed or borderless it launches however its set to. I used the information from this link to make scaling and framegen work for my mod collection skyrim. I edited the SSEDisplayTweaks.ini and then limited frame via ENB settings to half my refresh rate
