You can use #1113058376071528448 for that
I really don't think it's a good idea to mix the two for a lot of reasons
For starters, imagine if someone reports a bug and in a few weeks 30 support threads are created and the bug report is buried deeper and deeper as time goes on.
Discord is already not ideal for these kind of things and mixing the two would make things even more complicated.
or testing chat
Yeah you can make threads in #🛸│testing-chat
I really don't think that's ideal. If you've used GitHub in a project or even used it to report issues you'll realize the importance of having an exclusive place for this. #🛸│testing-chat is intended for Beta Testing discussion and not for general bug reporting.
@celest lichen Sorry for the tag but I'd appreciate your input on this. At the end of the day perhaps the most important thing is that you as the developer can properly manage the reported issues. I don't think it's a big deal to create a dedicated channel/forum for this but I'll do whatever you direct me to.
We can create it here as a channel. I don’t think that users will go to some external site like github and create accounts to report a bug.
Sure I guess I'll make one if you want it
I apologize if I wasn't clear enough in my previous message but my reference to GitHub was not to suggest to move things there for bug reporting, it was meant to share my perspective that it's important to have a designated place to centralize bug reporting specifically, with the objective of making it easier to manage, track, discuss and everything else and I believe the closes thing we can have here on Discord is a forum.
Sorry if it came that way but I don't mean to impose on you, so in my opinion it shouldn't be about whether I specifically want it or not. My intention of creating this suggestion is to explain why I think it's a good idea and, if you agree with the reasoning behind it, create it if you also believe it could be helpful.
Oh no I was responding to ths
