#Lossless scaling crashing after unscaling from a game in the latest beta
37 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
also any actions like alt tabbing and pressing the windows key can cause a crash too.
because those unscale the app as well
Im AMD & with latest 2.6.0.4, not a single issue if you set it right
not sure tbh, clampzy said he also experienced the crashes
how would I set it up right in my case? every setting for ls is kept on default and crashes still occur here and there
You on laptop or desktop?
desktop
they used to be minimal but it has times where it happens multiple times in a row
Then I guess its driver related or you set LS running on wrong gpu
only have 1 gpu but i did notice that I can only select auto in preferred gpu for some reason
it wasnt like that before
Yea nvm, on desktop you always montior out via dgpu so not that issue
I think need dev to troubleshoot your case
ill reinstall drivers again and see if that does anything
same issue rip
checked event viewer and got this

something driver related
any ideas?
Do you have an IGPU on your Cpu? I know there is was a crash related to that. If so try and set your gpu to the igpu. If not, is it in every game or just one?
No igpu and it happens in every game
Gonna sleep soon, sorry if i can't respond later
Based on the error the communication between the driver and LS seem not ok
try DDU the driver and install the latest again
Not sure for now, could be also some bug in the app, however I don’t have any crashes. Tested on my 7700 igpu
i did
same issue
running a 7900xt latest drivers
happened again 🗿
did you undervolt or overclock your gpu
nope
Is it the only gpu you have?
yes
Are you using official driver or custom?
