= Magician Activated Ability Gears =

  • Creepy Speech.
I don't think this gear gets used much. I personally think it is okay but I also think madness is just such a weak state in the game right now.
I like the funny voice lines from it.

  • Return Impostor.
Cool little gear. Seems very useful for how often you need to place an imposter and move them.

  • Listening.
Was the most annoying gear to face as a bunny.
It was a default part of magician in the October open playtest and I kind of miss it as a default.
I personally found it very helpful for information and sometimes slowing down aggressive bunnies.
I don't know how it works exactly, since I cant use it anymore.
The bunny player within me kind of hopes they made it so it lasts shorter and also can be countered by the new calmness effect.
The magician player within me wishes I had this as base kit.

= Magician Passive Gears =

  • Collector.
It might be okay in lower MMR lobbies but in higher MMR I think bunnies share items too much.

  • Hasty Collector.
I wish I had either this or strong hand so badly. I had so many bunnies escape while trying to both loot them and them cage them or throw them.

  • Impostor Tamer.
Could be okay but I think magician currently enough imposter slots to cover areas of interest.

  • Lucky Charge.
Eh. Maybe useful in higher MMR lobbies with aggressive bunnies that don't give magician many keys, but that 20% is kind of a really low chance.

  • Refreshing Charge.
This gear is pretty alright. I mainly use it to give myself a quick imposter refresh.

  • Strong Hand.
I wish I had this gear more then Hasty collector but still just looting bunnies who are good at skill checks is a pain.

  • Standing Ovation.
I don't understand what rewards this gear is increasing.

  • Mind-Breaker.
Madness is just too weak right now in my opinion.

  • Warden.
I wish this wasn't a gear and magician just started with an extra key. some games are hard to start out.

Quick update on some thoughts.

I now think Refreshing Charge is actually a really strong gear.

I can use a key at the start of the game to instantly give myself all my abilities.

This gear also really good to plant an imposter somewhere, teleporting somewhere, getting a card if you need one and then using a key to instantly use imposter again and also getting another card if you need it.

The bunny player inside of me says this should make magician start with one less keys.

Refreshing charge is basically a meta gear right now

With how i was using refreshing Charge in the past I didn't see it's full potential, but now I can see it being a bit of a meta gear.

I also don't see it being super duper strong because it does consume a key to use so it is a pretty fair trade. Just having your abilities be instantly refreshed is a game changer.
Like I actually don't know what i would do some games without refreshing charge if you get what I mean.

Collector allows the Magi to counter the bunnies large pockets. Large Pockets can ensure the Magi never can take their keys by the way.

That's what I do 😄

I even made a 3rd one finally for when the next slot is available

Hmm. Fair point. I imagine the two best bunny Passive ability Gears is soft paws and large Pockets.
The other one seem weaker in comparison.

How many gears does it currently take to counter large Pockets?

If it is just a single collector Gear then it would be pretty useful right now.

Losing the ability to use strong hands or some other better passive ability gear for two collector gears is not really worth it to me.

It was when it was all the time for sure though XD

Still, how many collector gears do you need to counter a bunny using larger pockets to hide a key?
