i can mute them after the match ends, sothats 1. no solution and 2. is this harrassment/toxic behaviour
ok but then the damage is already done so .. i dont see your point
you know how you can prevent this? Bann those players
its clearly a violation to the terms of servic
e
It is not
the last few days are crazy with people who are insulting,.. not joking but the loudness kill the fun absolutely
and it is intention, it is premeditation
i dont think these players should be banned from playing period but i could see them implementing a vc ban for this kind of stuff
it is toxic behaviour and this is a violation.
how this will be handled in the future i dont know, but something has to happen
Trist, your point was that it deserves a perm ban. The devs have never given a perm ban for this issue, thereby setting a precedent that it does not deserve a perm ban. I had a talk with Kleckser on this topic yesterday. There are mechanics in the game to prevent this. Use them. There is currently no slider for how loud a mic nor a mic test function so there is no way to know it is intentional. From your clip, I don't believe it to be intentional
I have seen times where peoples mics were very quiet and some loud. But when hopping into a VC with them, their mic was fine.
I appreciated you eleborated that
but from my view, i can not prevent it from happening right now
Mute them
i can afterwards yes
players should not be expectet to mute all players at the start of the game, that is not what the core gameplay loop should be.
would you agree?
yes or no
you can mute them when you notice them being obscenely loud and you dont have to deal with it repeatedly afterwards
You can mute them if they are disturbing you with the bad mics in the mid game. If they are saying slurs, report them in game.
maybe it should not be a perma bann ok
it would be helpful to have a mute all hotkey so you dont have to pause and find the player in the scoreboard
ok i can mute them but here you can clearly see: nothing was said but then suddenly it came super loud
i dont know. i dont think it should be expectet to mute players
preactive
i mean it not only kills the fun but it can cause serious damage to the ears
you shouldnt downplay that
Instead of punishing the player, since you cannot truly determine if it's intentional or not unless it's systematic, a max volume should be implemented from the devs side. Problem solved
Agreed
also i recocnized players using some kind of voice manipulation
weird laughings and things like that
is that a thing?
Voice changers and soundboards are a thing in the game, yes
but its a violation, right
Not to my knowledge. I don't think that'd be classed as harmful third party software
you could consider it as unathorized modification
That's modifications to the game code
