- Once the door to other floors has been unlocked, the hunter can choose to close that same door.
- Make floor access doors permanently unlocked after the first time it's been unlocked.
- Reasoning: Bunnies already have a hard time of trying to find enough gears to be able to unlock doors to upper levels. This creates unnecessary hardship given the bunnies already have to spend resources to get back to higher floors or likely lose them once caught by the hunter.

You can use rope to have another route through the floors and that is a permanent progress save, also magician will lose time when he goes down to close the doors.
A door being unlocked forever doesn't change the fact that you will need to find more gears to the other doors too, it will only change that you dont need to waste time for opening it again or need to find a key, things that you dont need if you have rope. Also opening a door again is a good way to distract the magician and giving him a decision to make. 
I'm confused on the first bullet.
As for the second, I understand what you're getting at, but as Cappuccino mentioned, that's exactly what ropes are for. That of course only gets you to 2nd and 3rd, but that's the intention. I think the issue with doors being shut and magi just camping them is more of an issue with team coordination, which I run into quite often since I play solo. While I can empathize, I feel like we just gotta get teams communicating more often and splitting pressure so magi can't so easily undo progress and just sit there.

Even for the Mage, closing gates requires both time and the use of charges.
Additionally, the Mage still needs to travel to the gate and back, which already consumes valuable time and gives bunnys more options. This works both ways. Also, I dont see that many Mages do that. If it happens, its Strategic Reason.
For that reason, I don’t consider this suggestion valid.
We have rope for this. Rope would become useless if you cant close gates anymore
Find and use rope for permanent access upstairs.

Let bunnies spend a minute using the rope item on an open gearbox to jam it open permanently.
Rope item still has a use in that it opens shortcut / paths. Bunny wastes time using the rope to jam the gears.
Unless the spawn rates of ropes and gears are higher, I'd still have to say they should at least make the paths to the 2nd floor permanently unlocked once opened. I've had many random people agree through in game chat that it's just really difficult to even get to the 2nd floor because nobody can find a rope or we've just been unlucky enough to have had more cases of magician closing all our gates, just trying to find ways to make it more new-player friendly.
Sorry, the first bullet was just going off the order of what the feedback guidelines stated they needed (The way the problem is created). As for the rope, I know that ropes help to create a more reliable way to get to higher levels but, it seems like I nor many other random people I play with can ever seem to find one enough to actually use, same goes for gears/cogs to use on doors.
I guess it doesn't necessarily have to be every door, in that case, maybe just the way to the 2nd floor that way newer players don't feel like they've made progress only to be thrown back to the 1st floor and then locked back out.
