They recently changes some map possibilities forcing only 2 map variations to be possible. When they start adding more rooms it will probably go back to a more random state. The way the map generation works is explained in #1426937430388379790 and this video of carnivalhunttv:

Even then there is a specific way the maps are set regardless of the rooms so it’s way easier to learn it

what worked best for me when I started was to jump into sandbox as magi,walk and TP around the map

the maps are less random because they wanted less cannons to be availible at a time on average i believe
