The point is that the magician isn’t supposed to let the bunnies get up there at all— or at least not let them stay long enough to place the gears. Its fourth floor, it takes ages for them to get up there in the first place— if they had to both get up there, probably repeatedly, and also always had to lug every gear to the exit from entirely different rooms to the actual door, it would feel unfair to the bunnies.
As for why they do it so fast in general they also might just be bringing gears from the lower floors with the Ferris wheels, which they can do.

Regardless your issue of the bunnies getting up to the fourth and getting out quickly can only really fall under “Skill issue”, especially with the magician and game in general as it is now.
What are you on about my issue is that a gear can spawn directly next to the main exit gate and that’s a skill issue for me to keep track of 5 bunnies and if one bunny gets up and I don’t get on there ass in the next 10-15 seconds one gear is already in???
Why is it unfair for bunnies to go find a gear when it’s pretty much unfair for Magician when one spawns pretty much right next to it?
You get notifications for every single thing the bunnies can do to get up, of course you are supposed to know when they are up there and able to do that. Whether you check is up to you but you can teleport directly into both rooms that have those doors
I’ve seen many games where not a single bunny passed the second floor

I’ve also seen many where the magician prevented any gears from being placed despite them being right there
They probably aren’t that experienced yet or lack coordination

You can also easily check at any time whether a gear is in a given door, and then place an impostor there to prevent them from turning that gear without one of two very loud methods of doing so
… now that I think it the gear placement doesn’t actually matter as much as you seem to think it does.
That takes time to do though so yes it’s easy but it’s also easy for bunnies to hide around it
Impostor bunnies can get destroyed by fireworks so unless the Magician is staying in that same room which means the other bunnies can go do the other main exit you can easily open the gate with little effort on the bunnies part

Either you have a gear right next to a main exit so that means the bunny doesn’t have to go to a different room to find a gear so it saves so much time for the bunnies to not go find a gear
If you aren’t up there making sure they aren’t doing that when you think there is someone there, that is entirely your own fault for letting them have the time to be there.
You have the ability to both teleport up there with a skill and then teleport freely between the booths that are next to both doors.
Let me break it down for you
If you are going against a good bunny team you most likely will have multiple notifications going off at once and you can only be in one place at a time then your most likely will have one or more bunnies at the top while you are looking/guarding the first notification you get so now you either go to the second notification which lets the bunny at the 1st go up or you let the second notification bunny go up.
Now you have gears near the main exit gates how is that fair for the Magician
It’s not a skill issue if you are physically unable to be at two places at once
There is no Gear RNG. Each room spawns a set amount of gears.
On 4 floor it's:
Center - 2 gears
LWing - 2 gears
RWing - 2 gears
Filler Corridor - 1 gear
