use huggy bunny - i totally knew anyone would pull that up
...well ya thats how you deal with it.
WHAT to do if you have none OR get tunneled ?! 200iq
How badly are you playing you are going insane every match. I find that impressive in itself
well maybe im not into discuss any idiotic opionions about HOW BADLY someone plays, nice mentor statement btw for new players
Just in case you didn’t know, there’s a small circle in the bottom-left corner of your picture in game that shows how close to madness you are.
If you get above half that circle, it’s a good signal to finding and using a Cuddlebun ASAP.
I am responding to your general attitude. Sorry if you feel attacked.
It’s usually not hard to prepare for because you can grab and use one right away.
seems like you all never have experienced tunneling killers :) good for you. you dont get the problem
cuddlebun is one of the rarest things. So it seems like
I’d need to see the gameplay to help make a suggestion or understand the situation. I can’t speak to your experience but from my experience the game design is usually pretty decent at avoiding tunneling.
Take a rabbit hole. Dont stare at the magician or run into ticketmen when activated / stare at them (it raises your madness) Stay with other bunnies, this protects your sanity. Find (1) cuddle bunny to restore like 50% of your sanity. You have to be going out of your way to be going insane.
Even if you were being tunneled, you arent going insane from it.
i wrote down what can happen. you get into cage, ticketmaster is there, fake bunyn is there, teammates dont help you, you are fckd up in that situation. he comes to you cage when fake bunny grabs you and where is panic there?
whats that have to do with madness
That sounds like an issue with how impostor bunnies interact with cages. In case you didn’t know, impostor bunnies will not trigger if you quietly walk past them. So I don’t know if opening the cage instantly triggers them or if you are trying to run past and trigger them by accident.
If the impostor bunnies grab you the moment you open the cage without a chance for you to sneak past, then I agree that is problematic design and can stand to change.
you can walk over an imposter bunny after escaping a cage and it will not trigger.
What exactly is quietly walk? Its just running or going normally
that is the case
But I’m with @cosmic bluff that the growing madness is a symptom, not the problem.
and in both cases, you get grabbed by the fake bunny
dont hold shift.
It means don’t make noise by running, jumping, or dropping/using items.
thats a straight lie. even walking trgiggers them. maybe its a bug but it DOES
It might be a bug then, I played yesterday and was able to walk past impostor bunnies without getting grabbed.
its not a "straight lie" go into sandbox, place an imposter bunny on the ground, switch roles to bunny, walk over it. Observe how you don't get grabbed
show me video where thats not the case
and if it is the case, its a bug
I’m more curious about specifically the cage scenario. I can easily see a world where “opening the cage” counts as noise for the impostor.
after the cage incident.... are you even listening?
I would love to run an experiment on this sometime.
maybe the walking is inconsisted?
the fake bunny triggers with walking AFTER you escape a cage
can try to make one when it happens again
thanks, u 2
Mythbusters on the case
I've gone mad like.. twice in the entirety of playing this game
its EXTREMELY simple to avoid
I’ve made bunnies go mad but usually because I’ve gone easy on them and could have killed them 3 chases ago.
I think when that one gear gets added that can increase madness we might see madness-farming become a more common strategy.
mag already has a gear to increase bunny madness
but because madness is so simple to avoid its heavily underused
The cuddlebun issue... maybe Jack will trade u one for candies and toolbox?
Just sayin
That’s not reliable. I hate how the trader works. It would be better if you could explicitly choose what you get instead of gambling. Use up 12 candies and a toolbox for a god damn shockbox it pisses me off.
well, after 23 hours of gameplay i've seen the first case of madness on the bunny. And it happened when desperate rabbit suggesed me (the Mag in that case), to chase him for a practice. Chase lasts for 3 minutes almost in a row😹 . As for my Bunny experience, i've got 3\4 madness maximum, when I played as unsafely as possible))
yeah, i think madness needs a buff, if anything
in exchange they should make it so bunnies can find tickets to temporarily disable ticketmen
Imagine for 25 candy you can just craft a ticket
And while you’re holding it ticketmen don’t yell at you
That’d be cool and broken af.
Maybe disable it for around 30 sec with idk a green ticket or something? It makes the gameplay intenser and it gives a notification if you get nearby a active ticket master to put the ticket inside (and its gone forever) for a 30sec inactive ticket master
that seems too much, i think it should get consumed when you enter their radius while holding it and then they turn off for, say 20 seconds
I think 20-30sec is a good range of time
well a smoke bomb is literally a ticket for everyone for 30 sec.
Off topic*
My idea was the ticket was not consumable.
Just a free pass baby.
would be kinda cool honestly, and you'd need 100 candy for everyone to get that, so it might be balanced. taking the time to gather that much is no small task.
Right i keep forgetting about that
Then let it be consumable
Then its just a less versatile smoke bomb i think
I keep forgetting smokes help with ticketmen
I'm going to have to agree that the implementation of the madness mechanic is more of a detriment to the gameplay overall. Bunnies already suffer a 25% charge loss while also losing a protective gear to help against perma death if they're thrown, not to mention the loss of your items as well if the hunter decides to shake you down. If the meter bar is accumulating slow enough already, it just really shouldn't be there at all in my personal opinion.
