That means you get punish for using them as a normal trap and not putting it on objectives and encourages to use it just for that and that only. This needs to be changed so you can't no longer walk over them but for exchange you can destroy fake bunnies with a stack of candy or something because candy can have a use now beside for the merchant.

Fake bunnies work with the noise you make. So, if you run, you jump or you try to do an objective you will trigger them. If you walk, and play sneaky you wouldn't activate them. Also firecrackers doesn't alert the Magi.
You can use it also to break some loops.
Or use it in places you know that bunnies will run.
and that isn't that great to do because that needs you to to place a fake bonnie which they have time to run\waste a fake bonnie and it'll put the fake bunnies on cooldown which you may need later so it isn't worth the trade off
this also isn't worth the risk to do because they may never go that way. Which means if you want to get that fake bunnies back you either need to walk over and get\use the hat if is in sightlines or a gear that can recall it back to you.
so it'll waste to much time to pick it up normally without the gear
so maybe make the recall the last fake bunnie you placed down basekit?
Placing an imposter bunny when you have 0/3 will recall the oldest one.
Because in the beginning everything triggered it and it was so unbalance and got abused that they had to nerf it for the better as also community wise they wanted a nerf. Just to mention it imposter bunnies will walk around when they are finished with the AI.
but what if i wanted to recall the the first or the second one without going over to get it?
