Personally, I disagree. The bunnies should only be able to see the hat when using the radar.
They already have 25 minutes before the hat spawns, which should be more than enough time for the team to put pressure on the Magician and trap him between the 3rd and 4th floors.
It makes sense that the Magician can always see the hat—if the bunnies are pressuring the 4th floor, he shouldn’t be forced to go down blindly.
If the bunnies could see the hat just like the Magician, it would be overpowered. They could simply camp the first floor the whole match or jump into the void to grab it instantly. By limiting its visibility, the game instead encourages players to fight for the exit rather than getting it “for free.”
The only balanced alternative I can see for making it visible would be if the hat appeared only when there’s a single bunny left, similar to the mechanics in DBD.
Yeah I think there should be a balance happening but only it being radar I don't think is good.
As a Magician main, the Hat should be findable for bunnies. I will say that only the Magician should be able to hear the sound to keep it fair.
How does radar affect the game's winnability?
She probably means escaping with the hat.
In that note alone, escaping with hat, even though you have gotten an escape. Shouldn't necessarily be equated to a win because you decide to ditch your team to get a solo escape.
If multiple bunnies are searching for hat with radar and only 1 gets out, then the bunny who escaped pretty much wasted their teammates time and resources.
it's not just hat - it helps you find all objectives as well. the faster you find objectives the faster you swing it in the winning favor
yeah i am not sure the best balancing, i think your idea sounds fair for sure, but definitely should recieve a change in general
