#Magician needs to close gates faster

people often sit by the gates and wait for you to start the closing animation to run through
To counter that the fast falling gate can damage bunnies and send them flying
I seen people do that in videos to
i liked the bug you could start closing the gate and walk away from it whle it was closing lol
It does sound nice
Personally I like the speed now cause you have to make a decision as to whether you’re gonna chase the bunny or close the door
Shouldn't take forever though
Sure, but I don’t want to the devs to make it super fast
Or still allow the bunnies to go through as they close
I enjoy looking the magician in the eye while I cross that closing gate tho
makes it like, " shouldn't had closed that door and kept chasing me" feel
Thats why it's gotta close fast and slam and cause damage to bunnies trying that lol
I don’t think it should damage bunnies if you close it on them
I shouldn't debate closing the gate for 20 secs or chase you for minutes
Mainly cause the hit detection on that sorta thing can be buggy
To an extent you should cause it allows for skill expression on the killer side

If the correct play is 100% one thing then it can feel dull
With how one sided it is rn, I should be able to close gates giving you a small advantage than a huge one

Caging is rarely ever possible
Therefore the killer always throws
All depends on the area
Just make it a bit faster no harm dune
I’d be willing to test a slightly faster closing speed
Just a bit faster gives them a chance but its still risky
fine, i'll just pop my bike and look the magi in the eye as I cross the gate from now on
Bikes actually raise your hitbox
that's gonna make them faster to tp to 2f center locker -_-
Meaning you can’t go through the gate if it’s halfway closed
maybe make it so you can cancel closing and have the door slam back up so you can chase whoever's trying to go through
Mabey before it closes all the way you can catch it and put it back up
Gate should fall without me being on it
A 3 second interaction and it should fall fast and close
A 3 second window for bunnies to run or try to get under the gate
Hence the slamming part of the gate to punish bunnies that are too late or barely make it past

But i feel its still unbalanced some how
I'll even take the slow closing if gates i close go into a damaged state and take longer to open
To repair they slowly fix it or use an oil to permanently fix
Magician already loses on getting back to the floor he closes the gates for, so in general it should be less punishing on the magician side
