I just had a game where it seemed pretty unfeasible to catch the bunnies running panic gears. They were faster than me, and when they weren't much further than me, they jumped into bunny holes for a free escape from any situation. There was a time in game where I was in a chase just moving towards the bunny, no interesting items, and they were faster than me, didn't jump for shortcuts, just ran forwards holding w for the entirety of the panic gear which was very wasteful feeling of my time, had enough distance to place a rope and SAFELY climb down because of the panic gear buff. In the same game every single exchange I had with that bunny they had panic gear ready. Not only did they have it ready, but I had seen them 3-4 times and the other instances they'd run, waste my time, and jump into a rabbit hole for even more value. It honestly felt like they were cheating and if they were it would've been extremely hard to tell from my end given the panic gear buffs they get.
I understand it's a very hard gear to acquire, however, I feel if the bunnies are going to get a speed boost, being able to jump into a rabbit hole after can be very infuriating and vice versa.
I also don't know what the cooldown is, and I hate to relate this to dead by daylight, but this might be a 'brand new part' situation, where the bunnies can get the entirety of the buff, but only once or twice per game, or with extreme downsides afterwards, like if they use the panic gear or a rabbit hole from the buff they get a very large chunk of madness buildup.
It feels very very strong. I really don't want to know what a full team running the panic gear looks like.

I completely agree, the normal panic is fine as is, but the gear panic ability should be much shorter, and the recharge more longer
i havnt gotten to use it does it generate fear on use?
if it doesnt maybe they could make it so using it generates large amount of fear so you have to be careful using it so freely or you will be consumed by fear and enter the insane bunny mode
That things is just completly broken. Just like the panic-on-demand when being grabbed, so you can instantly escape grab as bunny without taking any damage, into hole and gone, bye lul. The worst part about this is, there is no counterplay to this for Magician. You just have to "eat it". The only "counter" to it is "eat it and just try win anyway, good luck lol".
Imagine Magician had a gear that says "Just magically make someone lose a health state without them being able to do anything about it. No aiming required. Just press R." That would be the equivalent, because thats what this bun gear does "Just escape any chase on demand, no matter how good Magician plays. Just press R."
Classic get out of jail 4free card that doesnt even get consumed being way too good. Why do asymms always think these are cool mechanics?

when they use panic to free themselves your meant to lose it
Im talking about the gear that gives you panic on demand WITHOUT being grabbed first. So if you get grabbed, you get out instantly, without having lost a health state.
I'm not talking about the regular anti-tunneling panic. That one is completly fine.
yes but what im saying is if they use to free themselves they should lose the speed and the panic just like the regular version
