mechjeb rendezvous not working

i was trying to let it rendezvous while i go to the toilet and i came back to see that my orbit was on a course into kerbins atmosphere
why does mechjeb fail at rendezvousing?

mech jeb is not perfect. somethimes you have to do it manually

Idk, but try putting both vessels in a higher orbit if you can. The additional buffer room’ll probably help.
